Families will be notified of the upcoming photo week and will be given an online family brochure about 1 month before the booked date (We will send you information and brochure to post to your families).
Families will then be asked to register their child/ren if they are interested in getting portraits about 2-3 weeks before photo week (We will send registration link).
I will take pictures of the children within in their play environments without removing them from their play. This means that your educators can continue being educators. I should not need their support unless I am finding it really difficult to connect with a particular child.
I may ask the children a few questions or ask if they would like to smile or look at the camera, but nothing will be forced. The photos are child lead and often after a few shots they are telling me what they want to do and where they want their photos taken. It's also fun for them to watch their peers having their turn too.
Each child will be allocated a day but if for some reason they were not interested or I wasn't able to get many pictures of them I will attempt again on another day they attend that week. This may mean that they aren't in their “photo clothes”. In the parent brochure we will explain that this may occur. We will do our best notify the parents or educators of their new day but ultimately our aim is to capture natural pictures of the children in their play environment, not them in their “photo clothes”.
I will do my best to also get sibling photos too but these will not be guaranteed.
Staff photos are included if you want and update at no cost to your service.
Within 4 week the photos will be send out to your families via an individual private gallery link.
Families will then be able to browse through and choose which photos they would like to purchase.
The photos are all DIGITAL ONLY and once purchased families will be emailed a link to download them instantly.
